Emma and Oli are one the the sweetest, loveliest and excitable couples I've ever met, and it shows in their wedding photographs. Couples who are head over heels bonkers in love are just the most fun to work with, and these two have love by the bucket load. I adored them both the minute I met them and it really was a privileged to get to know them over the course of a year leading up to the big day, and I truly felt more like a friend than a photographer. I'm pretty sure there wasn't a single moment of their wedding day that wasn't spent laughing, apart from the odd happy tear during the vows and speeches. Just wonderful wonderful people.
This was my first wedding at The Hundred House Hotel and after hearing such good things I was really excited to shoot there at last. It didn't disappoint, boasting a stunning garden that's unlike anything at any other venue I've visited, so wild and unusual as well as functional, as it's where the hotel grows a lot the produce for the award-winning restaurant. The Tilthe Barn where the weddings take place is breathtaking with it's fairy-lit ceiling, wooden beams and rustic charm, the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and magical celebration, which this certainly was.
The wedding fell upon Easter Sunday, and I loved the addition of mini-egg nest cake favours for the guests to reflect this, and the colours just so happened to match the gorgeous pastel Springtime decorations. But by far the best thing about the whole day was just how bloody EXCITED Emma and Oli were to marry one-another! At the end of the day, that really is all that matters.
Massive humongous squishy thanks to Emma and Oli for having me be the one to capture your amazing wedding! I loved every second, truly.
