Dayle and Sophie must be one of the sweetest couple's I've ever met in my 5 years of photographing weddings. Loves young dream! I met them for the first time back in September 2015 when they had just moved into their first home together and I could tell straight away just how madly in love they were, it just made my heart melt! Sophie even looked like Disney Princess with her long golden locks, I couldn't wait to start snapping.
Sophie and her beautiful maids and parents got ready at her parents house just down the road from the church at Hanwood. I know the church well as it's where my husband grew up and we had to have our banns read there all those years ago. The whole morning as so relaxed, jolly and full of laughter. I was joined by Andy at Cam 3 on videography for the first time and we all really enjoyed being a part of that happy atmosphere. Sophie even found the time to go out and have a chat with her pet sheep (told you she was a Disney Princess!).
An archway of flowers greeted the guests to the ceremony, and it became very clear just how much love and support flowed for the couple from each and every person attending. Family is massively important to both Dayle and Sophie and it was so sweet to see all these excited happy faces!
As Dayle waited nervously at the alter, Sophie took a moments pause outside church with her father to pray which I found this incredibly touching.
I love a couple who aren't afraid to have a giggle, and the new Mr and Mrs Turner had giggles by the bucket load! Photographing them together was a total joy, and the overcast skky meant the lush greens of the Wroxeter's grounds sang out against the pinks and whites of Sophie's gorgeous bouquet.
I've shot a lot of weddings at the Wroxeter hotel over the years, and I can sincerely say I have never seen it decorated as beautifully as it was that day. The flower adorned candelabras were the ultimate finishing touch, it was truly stunning!
The evening brought a fantastic blackened sky that was unlike any I've ever seen. Perfect backdrop for some romantic portraits. Thankfully Sophie and Dayle were more than happy to cuddle, snuggle and smooch as much they could!
After an emotional first dance and a Daddy-Daughter sashay, there wasnt a dry eye in the house. There was such a feeling of two very happy families coming together as one for such a special pair, made even more prominent as the couple already knew they were expecting their first child. It really was a true celebration of love and the life the they would share together in the future.
Thank you so very much to Sophie, Dayle and your lovely families for having me be the one to photograph your very special day. I loved every single second! And I cannot wait to see some baby photos when the little guy gets here. Wishing you all the best for the future.
